Wayne Community College will host a voter registration drive on Friday as part of a "Constitution Day" activity. The drive will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Atrium of the Wayne Learning Center.

The voter drive is for any U.S. citizens by birth or naturalization, who will be at least 18 years old by the next general election, and will have been residents of North Carolina and Wayne County for 30 days before the election. It will be conducted by the Wayne County Board of Elections.

Other Constitution Day activities at the college include performances of patriotic songs by students Billy Sanders at 9:30 a.m. and Phillip Parry at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m., also in the Atrium, and a Constitution Quiz: "Could You Pass the American Citizenship Test?" on the half-hour from 9:30 a.m. to noon in Room 161 of the Wayne Learning Center. Refreshments will also be provided by the WCC Student Government Association.
