Back to School, Stay in School rally to be held Tuesday

The Goldsboro/Wayne NAACP and the STOP the Funeral Initiative Covenant Partners invite the community to attend its fourth annual Back to School Stay in School Rally on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. at The Original Tabernacle of Prayer, 1007 S. John St.
Charles Wright, education chair of the Goldsboro/Wayne NAACP said more than 40 covenant partner churches as well as students are expected to participate in the event.
The evening will feature workshops for parents and students, entertainment and a back to school pep rally. There will also be prizes, games, refreshments and school supply giveaways.
