Ben Whitley cools off his newly wedded wife, Deborah Whitley, with a fan as they enjoy the music of The Embers at the Center Street Jam Thursday. The Whitleys, who were married last Saturday, were two of the hundreds of people who tried to make the best of the hot weather and enjoy the cool sounds of The Embers. The Jam will return Aug. 5 with Mark Roberts & Breeze.
