Four public hearings will represent the extent of the Goldsboro City Council's Monday meeting, as the board is set to work through a light agenda.
The first two involve conditional land use requests -- one, for property located on the west side of North William Street, between Hooks River Road and Patetown Road, and the other, for a site on the east side of South Slocumb Street, between East Elm Street and Eason Street.
The council is also set to hold a hearing on zoning ordinance amendments and a noncontiguous annexation request for Windsor Creek Lot 49, located on the western end of Windsor Creek Parkway.
As is its policy, the board will entertain public comment at the end of the meeting. Those who wish to speak are asked to hold the floor for no more than three minutes.
The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. and will be held in the council chambers located on the second floor of historic City Hall, and will be preceded by a work session that begins at 5 p.m. in the second-floor conference room inside the City Hall Annex next door.
