Stabbing
A West Oak Street man was stabbed after he was approached by a man he didn't know just after noon on Monday, accusing him of "hollering at his girl." The victim said he and the suspect, described as a black male, began to fight. The alleged victim told Goldsboro police he forced the suspect to the ground, and the man stabbed him with a knife. The victim was transported to Wayne Memorial Hospital for severe lacerations, police said.
