School vandalism
A Plexiglas window was broken and two window screens were damaged in a breaking and entering attempt at Carver Heights Elementary School on Monday night, Goldsboro police reported. Authorities said, though, it did not appear that anyone had gained entry to the school. The damage was estimated at about $500.
