Rabies vaccination clinics scheduled for Saturday

Wayne County will sponsor its annual series of rabies vaccination clinics on Saturday and then again on March 27.
On the first Saturday, clinics will be held at Eastern Wayne High School from 8:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. and at the old Pikeville School building from 1 to 3 p.m. They also will be held from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the animal shelter at 1600 Clingman Street in Goldsboro.
On Saturday, March 27, rabies clinics will be held at Grantham Elementary School from 8:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. and at Southern Wayne High School from 1 to 3 p.m.
Proof of prior rabies vaccinations is required for a pet to receive a three-year vaccination. If proof is not provided, a one-year vaccination will be administered.
