Government offices will be closed for MLK Day

County, state and national offices and most municipal offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 18, in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
Offices of the city of Goldsboro will be closed Monday. All sanitation services scheduled for Monday will be serviced on Wednesday, Jan. 20.
Wayne County offices, including the county landfill and convenience waste disposal and recycling sites, will be closed Monday.
Waste Industries will operate on its regular schedule.
Town halls in Mount Olive, Fremont, Calypso and Faison also will be closed.
The Pikeville Town Hall will remain open.
The Mount Olive recycling center on Talton Avenue will be open.
