$10,000 in copper stolen

A thief or thieves stole $10,360 worth of copper piping and wiring from a Goldsboro construction site. According to police, the copper was cut from exposed wiring and tubing in an unfinished wall. Daniels and Daniels Construction Co. was listed as the victim. The copper piping was valued at $7,650 and the wiring at $2,800.

More copper stolen

A trash can valued at $175 and $500 worth of scrap cooper wiring were taken from Case Farms on Pecan Road at Dudley.

Purse snatching

Yesmine Murphy 44, East Ridge Road, Birmingham, Ala., told police that someone ran from between two building and snatched her purse that contained $650 in cash. The black leather purse was valued at $25.

Vehicle shot

Dashaun Dupree Sherrod, 25, Lockmore Drive, Dudley reported that someone had shot his vehicle doing $550 in damages to the rear window and $1,000 in damages to the seats.

Fuel stolen

A gas engine valued at $600 and 150 gallons of diesel fuel valued at $360 were stolen from D&M Farms on Stevens Mills Road at Goldsboro.

Vandalism

Someone did $300 in damages to the rear door at the home of Becky Edgerton Stempien, 38, Berry Ridge Drive, Pikeville. Another $1,250 in damages were done to her car. Reported stolen were a $75 wallet, $16 in cash and a $25 flower pot.

Jewelry stolen

A thief or thieves took $4,000 worth of jewelry during a break-in the home of Patrick Brantley Burnette, 44, Miller Road, Fremont. Damages totaled $100 to the rear door of the home and $50 to a jewelry box.
