H1N1 flu vaccine clinics scheduled

A free H1N1 vaccine clinic will be held Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Wayne County Health Department, 301 N. Herman St.

No appointment is necessary and the clinic is open to everyone.

In order to promote faster processing, individuals are requested to report as follows per the first letter in their last name: letters A - J from 7:30 to 10 a.m., letters K-R from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., letters S-Z from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

In Johnston County, the Johnston County Public Health Department has scheduled walk-in H1N1 influenza clinics for today through Dec. 23 for people age 19 and older who would like to be vaccinated.

The clinics will be held Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at the Public Health Department, 517 N. Bright Leaf Blvd., Smithfield. Residents are reminded to please bring along your insurance information and card.
