Little River VFD receives grant

The Little River Volunteer Fire Department has been awarded a $7,524.09 grant by the Volunteer Fire Department Fund of North Carolina.
The money will be used to buy equipment.
The equipment is purchased using matching funds and must be approved by the Department of Insurance Office of State Fire Marshal.
Little River Volunteer Fire Department Inc. has received a total of $83,765.52 from the Volunteer Fire Department Fund in the past 22 years since the program began.
