Three face charges of cocaine trafficking

Goldsboro police and the Wayne County Sheriff's Office say three men were arrested in a scheme to sell or transport nearly $100,000 worth of cocaine.
The three men are Jesus Rios Flores, 20, address unknown, Ramiro Rios, 41, and Rufino Rios, 26, who share an address on Drummersille Road in Seven Springs.
All three men are family, but lawmen were not exactly sure of their relationship early this morning.
The men were arrested after a traffic stop July 19 in the eastern part of Wayne County after investigators learned they would be transporting cocaine that day, a source close to the case said.
During the stop, nearly two kilograms, or between four and five pounds, of cocaine were seized, the investigator said.
All three men face charges of trafficking in cocaine and conspiracy to traffick in cocaine, investigators said, and were being held under $500,000 bond each.
Authorities started investigating the men about a month ago, according to a sheriff's office press release.
The narcotics agent said the men had been supplying cocaine to people in Goldsboro and Wayne County, but are also part of a larger organization that provides cocaine across the eastern part of the state.
"It was something that we had been working on for a while," the investigator said. "It ended up resulting in a traffic stop."
The narcotics agents praised B-Shift Officer Jay Holland and K-9 Officer Chris Outlaw for playing "a vital part in the investigation."
More arrests might be pending in the investigation, officials said, as more details surface.
