Learning doesn't stop just because summer has arrived. These children with Now Faith Academy's summer program examine a miniature train at the Wayne County Museum as part of a lesson in the county's history. Goldsboro was founded more than a century ago as a stop along the Wilmington to Weldon Railroad. While they were at the museum, the children also learned about other aspects of the county's history and took part in a scavenger hunt that sent them around the city. The museum, which features a number of exhibits regarding the county's 200-year history, is open 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
