This week's heat has Wayne County residents looking for any way they can to cool off. Robert McCarty, his daughter Shaily, left, 11, and Ashley Marriner, 10, took time Wednesday to enjoy some Hawaiian shaved ice at a stand on Breazeale Avenue in Mount Olive. Temperatures were expected to stay in the mid-90s through at least Saturday.
