Job fair set
More than 60 representatives from a variety of fields plan to be at a job fair at Wayne Community College next month.
Technical and vocational occupations are the focus of the fair to be held Wednesday, March 10, from 9 a.m. to noon in the Wayne Learning Center Atrium on campus.
Students, military personnel and the public can meet with employers, ask questions, leave resumes and set up interviews at this free event.
Careers to be represented include health care, finance, education, automotive, law enforcement, manufacturing, aviation, human services, food processing, agribusiness, retail sales, military, mechanical, accounting, information technology and government.
The event is sponsored by Wayne Community College's Cooperative Programs, Cooperative Education, and Job Referral Department; Wayne County JobLink; and Seymour Johnson Air Force Base Family Support Center.

Showtime comes early this week
TV Showtime, a magazine of television news and schedules that normally comes on Fridays, appears with today's News-Argus instead.
Distribution is a day early because Friday is the publication date of the annual News-Argus Focus edition. It would not be possible to insert TV Showtime in the Focus edition because of edition's extraordinary size.
To quit or not?
The seminar "Should I Quit My Day Job?" that was canceled because of inclement weather last week has been rescheduled for Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m.
The session about deciding to start a business and how to do it is provided free by the Business and Industry Center of Wayne Community College.
It will be held in Room 145 of the Dogwood Building on campus. Call 735-5151, extension 334, to pre-register or for more information.
