Russia: Trump and Republican agenda overshadowed by Moscow questions

President Donald Trump campaigned on making America great again by enacting legislation to promote business and military strength and by doing away with many of the Obama-era laws that weakened both.

Trump's first foray into the political battlefield as president -- repeal of Obamacare -- turned out to be a resounding defeat. But there are plenty of other battles yet to be fought. The White House has indicated that tax reform is next on the agenda.

But Trump can make little headway with the weight of questions about possible connections to Russia and its president, Vladimir Putin, hanging like a stone around his neck.

Did the Russians interfere in the United States' presidential elections? Did they help Trump get elected? What is the exact relationship between Trump and Putin?

Until Trump puts these Russia questions to rest it will be difficult for him to tackle the issues voters put him in office to take on. So far, he has done little to help himself in this area. We hope the truth can come to light quickly, before concerns over the Russian connection doom this administration.
