City survey: Go online and let your voice be heard as Goldsboro resident

The city of Goldsboro is taking a survey of its residents in order to find out what they think

the city's most pressing needs and goals are or should be.

The City Council is preparing to go on its annual retreat, and the survey results will give them something of an idea of what should be on their agenda.

If you live in Goldsboro, you should take the time to participate. People are always complaining that their voices are not heard at City Hall. This is one chance taxpayers have to express their views.

The survey is available online at the city's website at www.goldsboronc.gov.

City Manager Scott Stevens said council members want as much input from residents as possible before beginning to talk about the future of the city. Retreats offer council members an opportunity to look at the big picture, where the city is going, where do residents want it to go, how will it get there. Input from residents can have a big impact on their thinking.

The survey is only going on through Wednesday, Feb. 8, so you don't have a lot of time. Let your voice be heard.
