Checkpoint: Bottom line is terrorism suspects have similar characteristics

The very definition of stupidity is to do the same thing over and over again, each time expecting a different result.

So, hearing that the suspects in the Paris shootings this week all had ties to al-Qaida training camps in Yemen -- and that two of them were on the U.S. no-fly list -- suggests that perhaps the idea of "profiling" potential terrorists might be one of the smartest ways to keep potential armed attackers out of western countries.

That is, if the politically correct model -- and the "let's be friends" approach are put where they belong -- in the dumper.

The world has changed and it is time to admit it. The best way to protect ourselves is to use every piece of evidence we have to stop these savages before they get here -- and to keep them confined if they are caught.

No more understanding and tolerance.

It certainly has been proven -- it doesn't work.
