Fun time: Plan to make stop at Wayne Regional Agricultural Fair

Looking for a family-themed way to spend the weekend? Starting to wonder if your children will ever look up again from their iPads, let alone their cell phones?

Never fear, the Wayne Agricultural Fair is just about to start.

Thursday is opening day -- and there will be plenty to see, to do and to enjoy at this year's event.

And, of course, plenty to eat, too.

The fair offers "city kids" the chance to learn something not only about agriculture, but about their county -- and it is a relatively inexpensive way to let them ride a few rides, too.

So gather up your brood and head on down to the fairgrounds sometime over the next two weekends.
