Line up here: Obamacare explainers are going to be very, very busy

The word is out and the recruiting has begun: The federal government is going to need a whole bunch of people to go out and explain Obamacare to the public in advance of its Oct. 1 implementation date.

Now, there's a shock.

Truth is, there are more than a few places where there could be some need for explaining -- Congress for one. Some of the legislators there seem still not to have read the law, and even more than that have no idea exactly what it means or even if it will work.

Well, that is not completely true. They know how to read one part -- the provision where they can exempt themselves and their cronies from the Affordable Care Act's clutches.

There are going to be quite a few people who are going to have more than a little trouble with this new law -- and group that is in for a rude awakening is the under-30 voting bloc. It seems they will have to take insurance whether they want or need it. The idea? The program needs healthy young people to pay the bills for the sick people.

We will see how well that goes over.

So Obamacare is here -- like it or not. And we are going to be spending a whole lot of money trying to get it off the ground.

The trick will be to pinpoint if it is working or not. And that will come with time.

But it sure doesn't look good.
