Debate fatigue: Soon, there won't be any need to ask any more questions

How many debates does it take to pick a Republican nominee?

Apparently, before someone is chosen to carry the GOP mantle, that number could be significantly in the double digits.

Not such a horrible thing -- unless of course, your favorite primetime show is on at the same time, and even then, there is the DVR.

But as the campaign continues, and it begins to look more and more like it is going to go down to the wire, North Carolina residents might want to keep a close eye on the battles behind the podiums in other states.

The policies, questions and concerns discussed now might be critical pieces of information when voters head to the polls to make their choice in May.

And try, with all your might, not to get bored -- although at some point, the candidates might have to resort to jokes if the furious pace of debates continues. Eventually, there will be nothing left to say.

On a positive note, we will be able to make a clear decision. On a negative one, the real debates have not even really begun.

Keep that DVR warmed up. You are going to need it.
