Ms. Kay Frances Ray, 78, Goldsboro, passed Sunday, July 22, 2018 at home.
The celebration of her life will be Saturday, July 28, at noon at St. Mark Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ-Faro, 893 Lanetown Road, Stantonsburg, N.C. She will be laid to rest in Fremont Cemetery, 174 Winding Branch Ave., Fremont.
The viewing will be Friday, July 27, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
She was born Feb. 23, 1940, in Goldsboro to the late Annie Bell Ray and Elroy Artis.
She is survived by two daughters, Deborah Ray, of the home and Rochelle Jones (Felton) of Grifton, N.C.; one son, Morris Ray, of Capitol Heights, Md.
Services of compassionate and distinguished class entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations of Goldsboro.
