George Council “Little George” Pridgen Jr., 77, Lucama, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Council Pridgen Sr. and Susie M. Pridgen, and sister, Nancy Parrish Carter.
He was employed at Voith Fabrics, and retired from there after 33 years.
Graveside services will be Friday, July 27, at 11 a.m. in Fate-Watson Cemetery, 7252 Fate Road, Lucama, with pastor Kelly Smart and pastor Autry Pridgen officiating.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Peggy J. Pridgen of the home; daughter, Darlene P. Fallows (Tommy) of Fremont; son, Randy Pridgen (Terry) of Pikeville; brother, Thomas Pridgen (Daylon) of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Ryan Fallows and Megan Fallows; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Shingleton Funeral Home.
