Serail Pridgen Yelverton, 78, LaGrange, died Monday at Wake Med in Raleigh.
Funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Lovick's Chapel. Interment will be in Pinelawn Memorial Park in Kinston.
She was married to James "Buddy" Yelverton.
She is survived by two daughters.
Visitation will be Frida, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lovick's Chapel Church AME Zion in Jason.
