Michael Harold Tukes, 61, 182 Booker St. in Pikeville, N.C., died Monday at his residence.
He was born July 26, 1956, in Kings County, N.Y., to Ulysses and Jessie Johnson Tukes, and is survived by a son.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Elm Grove Church Ministries of Pikeville. Burial will follow in Hook Grove Church Cemetery
Visitation will be one hour prior to at the church. The family will receive friends at the residence in preparation for the funeral procession.
