CURTIS PRICE

Ralph LeCurtis “Curtis” Price, 83, Goldsboro, passed away early Monday morning, April 30, 2018, at Rex Healthcare.
Curtis was born in Johnston County September 15, 1934, to the late Ralph and Letha Batten Price.
He was a member of Rosewood First Baptist Church.
He was also a longtime member of the Fork Township Volunteer Fire Department (Rosewood VFD), and was “Fireman of the Year” in 1976.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 4, 2018, from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Family Life Center at Rosewood Baptist Church, followed by a service to celebrate Curtis’ life in the sanctuary, with the Rev. Mike Collier officiating. Interment will be Saturday, May 5, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Curtis is survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty Creech Price; sons, Tim Price and wife, Pam, of Goldsboro and Greg Price of Charlotte; grandchildren, Brandon Jones and wife, Michelle, Timothy Price Jr., Jessica Price, Rebecca Price, Lexy Price, Adam Price and Lilly Price; and great-grandchildren, Mikayla Jones, Tyler Jones and Xara Walker.
He is also survived by his sisters, Marie Lane of Virginia, Jackie Fussell and husband, Jim, of Clayton, Betty Lassiter and husband, Willis of Clayton and Judy Johnson of Four Oaks; and brothers, Jimmy Harold Price and wife, Ruby, of Kenly and Linwood Price and wife, Bonnie, of Rocky Mount.
