John Joyner Thigpen, 64, Goldsboro, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at Wayne UNC Hospital.
John was born in Bristol, Tenn., Sept. 16, 1953, to the late Bill and Gladys B. Thigpen.
Graveside services will be held Friday, March 23, 2018, at 2:30 p.m. in Willow Dale Cemetery, with the Rev. Alex Gonzalez from St. Mary Catholic Parish presiding.
John is survived by his brothers, Brian Thomas Thigpen and William Breen Thigpen.
