Walter Ronald "Ronnie" Foss, 68, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Wayne UNC Hospital.
Ronnie was born in Duplin County April 22, 1949, to the late Buddy and Louise S. Foss.
He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Ronnie retired from Dupont, and following retirement, he began working with Delmus Hardware in Goldsboro.
He was a member of Walnut Creek Free Will Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 14, 2018, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. in the chapel, with the Rev. Tony McLamb officiating. Interment will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
Ronnie is survived by his wife of almost 30 years, Sandra Powell Foss, and her children, Mavis Williams and husband, Jake, Billy Hall Jr. and wife, Ruth, and Terry Hall; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by his brother, Dennis Foss and wife, Nannie; sister, Karen Weston and husband, Brian; and several nieces and nephews.
