Elbert Wayne Gower, 78, Kenly, died Monday at home.
Funeral will be private at Upper Black Creek Cemetery.
He was born in Johnston County Aug. 9, 1939, to the late Lawrence and Lavina Rowe Gower. He was married to the late Patricia Mitchell Gower.
He is survived by a son and three daughters.
