CLARA LANE TAYLOR

Clara Lane Taylor, 84, Faison, passed away Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018, at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, N.C.
Mrs. Taylor was born March 13, 1933, in Duplin County, N.C., to the late William Jarvis Lane and Geneva Thomas Hollingsworth.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by daughter, Elizabeth "Beth" Taylor and fiancé, Nelson Lane, of Faison; very special niece, Susan Godfrey and husband, Gary, of Reno, Nev.; loyal four-legged companion, Buckner Hill Taylor; granddog, Delaney Lou (aka Tennsy); and lots of wonderful nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by husband, Ray Taylor; son, Ray "Buster" Taylor Jr.; and sisters, Rachel Lane Williams, Dorothy Lane Matthews, Annie Lou Lane Matthews and Dr. Linda Jean Flowers.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018, at Faison United Methodist Church, with burial following in Faison Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018, at Community Funeral Home of Warsaw.
