JAMES V. PEARSALL
June 11, 1930-Feb. 2, 2018
James Vance Pearsall, resident of the Outlaw's Bridge community, Seven Springs, died Friday, Feb. 2, at Wayne UNC Health Care. He was 87 years of age.
Mr. Pearsall was the son of the late LaRoy and Bessie Bennett Bowden Pearsall, and husband of the late Mildred Mills Pearsall. He also was preceded in death by 11 siblings.
Survivors include a stepson, William Edward Mills Sr. of Seven Springs; three grandchildren, Glenda Bass of Grantham, Tiffany Wheeler of Pikeville, and William Edward Mills Jr. of Grantham; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jeanette Mae P. Likens of Kinston and Betty P. Wood of Kenansville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His life will be remembered in a graveside service to be held Monday, Feb. 5, at 11 a.m. in Maplewood Cemetery, Mount Olive. The Rev. Bryan Wheeler will officiate.
