Elizabeth Best Jackson Williams, 83, resident of the Mount Olive area, passed away Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, at Kitty Askins Hospice.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 12, at 2 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jonathan Altman officiating, followed by burial in Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 1 p.m.
She was a member of Thunder Swamp Pentecostal Holiness Church, enjoyed gardening and had been a farm wife.
She had also been employed at Young Squire Industries.
Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and LuAnn Jackson of Mount Olive; daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Wendell Fordham of Selma; grandchildren, Kyle Fordham, Jacob Fordham and Casey Jackson; and a great-granddaughter, Hannah Kate Fordham.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jasper Jackson and Elton Williams; parents, Hubert and Mathia Wise Best; sister, Eleana McCullen; and an infant son.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Thunder Swamp Church, c/o Liz King, 3516 Suttontown Road, Faison, N.C., 28341.
