Bobbie Joe Herring, 61, 659 Durham Lake Road, Dudley, died Wednesday at home.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Union Grove Free Will Baptist Church of Clinton, with Bishop Garland Mayes officiating. Burial will be in Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
He was the son of Eula Fryar Herring of Clinton. He was married to Gloria Herring of the home.
He is survived by a daughter.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 1 to 6 p.m., with family present 5 to 6, at Worley Funeral Home Inc. of Clinton.
