Ingeborg Elisabeth Ambis Worrell, 90, Goldsboro, passed away Monday, Nov. 27, 2017, at Brookdale Country Day.
Inge was born in Germany July 4, 1927, to the late Frederich and Paula Ambis. She was married to the late Wilbert Worrell.
Inge was a member of First Baptist Church in Goldsboro.
A private memorial service for the family will be held Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017, in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Scott Trailkill officiating. Interment will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
Inge is survived by her son, retired Col. John Paul Mikula and wife, Jewell, of Southern Pines, and two grandsons, John Alexander Mikula of Denver, Colo., and James Ryan Mikula of Richmond, Va.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to First Baptist Church, 125 S. John St., Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
