Ms. Linda Bayles Jackson, 78, Dawson Road, Dunn, died Monday evening, Oct. 16, 2017, at Golden Years Nursing Home in Falcon.
Ms. Jackson was born in Harnett County Aug. 4, 1939, the daughter of the late David Burt Bayles and Mary Lewis Bayles, and was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Naylor Jackson, and a brother, Billy Bayles.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Shady Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church, with Dr. Kenneth E. Benton and the Rev. Chris Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by a son, Richard Naylor Jackson Jr. of Dunn, N.C.; a sister, Ruth Bayles Grimes of Nahunta, N.C.; and a brother, L.C. Bayles of Erwin, N.C.
The family will receive friends Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Shady Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church in Dunn. One hour prior to the service.
