Winfred Avery Murphy, 56, Rose Hill, died Tuesday at Vidant Duplin Hospital in Kenansville.
Funeral will be at Rose Hill Funeral Home chapel in Rose Hill Saturday at noon, with the Rev. Quincy Hill officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Funeral Home Cemetery in Magnolia.
He was the son of Oscar and Mary Louise Murphy of Rose Hill.
He is survived by a daughter.
Visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m. to noon at Rose Hill Funeral Home.
