Raymond Barnes, 90, 1608 Palm St., died Tuesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Elm Grove Church. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park North.
He was born Aug. 19, 1927, in Wake County to Zeke and Mozzelle Mangum Barnes. He was married to Annie Artis Barnes.
He is survived by six children.
Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. at Haskins Funeral Home. At other times, the family will receive friends at home, where it will assemble for the funeral procession.
