Charlette Vann, 39, 510 Church of God Road, died Sept. 2 at Wayne UNC Hospital.
Funeral was Saturday at 1 p.m. at First African Baptist Church, with Rev. Tony Mills officiating. Burial was in Wilson Chapel Cemetery of Turkey.
Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of Hazel Herring Vann and Mozelle Vann.
Two daughters survive.
The family will receive friends at the home.
Arrangements are by Garris Funeral Home.
