CLIFTON ARTHUR STALLINGS

Clifton Arthur Stallings, 73, passed away Friday, Aug. 11, 2017, at home surrounded by his family and close friends.
All services will be held at a later date.
Mr. Stallings was born in Wayne County May 15, 1944, to the late Luby Caswell Stallings and Lena Willis Stallings.
He served in the United States Navy, having served in Vietnam.
Mr. Stallings was a dedicated truck driver for more than 35 years, and was the patriarch of his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, June Stallings; one daughter, Carrie Dean and husband, Tommy, of Goldsboro; two grandchildren, Thomas Dean and wife, Lanie, and Lauren Dean; and three great-grandchildren, Ryleigh Warner, Paisley Dean and Gunner Dean.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Stallings was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Stallings.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Crystal with Community Home Health and Hospice.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
