Kenneth Carroll Wade, 77, Goldsboro, died Monday at Wayne UNC Health Care.
Funeral service will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home. Committal will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. The Rev. Bill Cotton will officiate.
Family will receive friends before the service.
Surviving are two daughters, Cindy Kaye Gustin of Connecticut and Tammy Jean Hill of Rosewood; brother, Charles C. Wade (Brenda) of Mount Olive; three grandsons; and a granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carrie Maybell Pike Wade and Royce Wade, and siblings, James Edward Wade, Harold Lee Wade and Carrie Elizabeth Cox.
Kenneth was a retired fireman with the city of Goldsboro and a retired truck driver for the state of North Carolina, and was a veteran of the United States Army.
The family requests that memorials be made to the American Heart Association, 3015 S. Memorial Drive S-A, Greenville, N.C., 27834.
