Roxie Marie Barnes Harper, 94, Fremont, died Sunday.
Funeral will be Wednesday at noon in the chapel of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home, with the Rev. Levi Cummings officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
She was born in Johnston County March 27, 1923, to the late James and Bettie Langley Barnes. She was married to the late Jasper Lewis Harper.
She is survived by two sons and two daughters.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 11 to 11:45 a.m. at the funeral home and other times at the home of her daughter, Tammy Moore, 455 Old Black Creek Road in Fremont.
