Nancy Laura Boykin, 69, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017.
She was born Aug. 14, 1947, in Johnston County to the late Charles A. Boykin and Rachel Lucas Boykin.
Nancy worked as an income case maintenance supervisor II with the Wayne County Department of Social Services, and retired with 31 years of service.
A service to celebrate her life will be held 4 p.m. Thursday, June 22, 2017, at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, 27545.
The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 2 to 3:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
Surviving are daughters, Carol Daughtry (Randy) of Clayton and Tammy Fulford of Weaverville; grandchildren, Zachary and Nicholas Daughtry; and Tucker B., her beloved pet poodle.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her brother, Charles David Boykin.
