Graveside services for Jack Williamson will be held Saturday, May 27, at 11 a.m. at Grant's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery near Seven Springs.
The family will receive friends after the service for a brief time at the cemetery.
Jack, 64, died Wednesday morning, May 24, in a New Bern retirement center.
He was a native of the Williams Crossroads area near Mount Olive, and had served in the United States Navy.
Preceded in death by his parents, Willie Carl Williamson and Beatrice Brogden Williamson; a brother, Bill Williamson; and a sister, Margie W. Taylor; Jack is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Grace W. and Charlie Bass of Princeton; a niece, Crystal Bass and fiancé, Andy Overton, both of Princeton; two great-nephews, David Jordan Thompson and Hunter Wayne Thompson both of Princeton; an aunt, Evelyn W. Wells of Mount Olive; and many cousins.
