BOBBY L. JOYNER

Bobby Louis Joyner, 78, a native of Wayne County and resident of Four Oaks, passed away at UNC Hospitals May 12, 2017.
Bobby was the owner of Joyner Refrigeration and Electric Inc. for more than 40 years.
Prior to starting his own business, he spent 22 years as maintenance engineer for Carolina Packers Inc.
He had a love of antique tractors, and enjoyed restoring and showing them.
He was a master of many trades, a genuine mechanical genius who enjoyed spending time in his shop.
He was a generous person who enjoyed many friendships and treasured them all.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 17, 2017, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, 1300 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, followed by a graveside service at Wayne Memorial Park, with the Rev. Frank Purvis officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Best Joyner; daughter, Beth Joyner Waldron; son-in-law, Mike, and beloved grandson, Evan, of Chapel Hill; brothers Gordon Joyner and Danny Joyner of Four Oaks, Ricky Joyner of Mount Olive and Wayne Joyner of Hendersonville; and sisters, Iris Weaver of Mount Olive and Margaret Rose Cook of Goldsboro.
He was preceded in death by parents, W.M. and Nina Joyner, and brother, Ray Joyner.
Although flowers are welcome, memorials may be made in Bobby's memory to Cures for the Colors, SMOC, 203 Cox Blvd., Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
