Merriweather, 63, Raleigh, died April 27 at home.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Raphael's Catholic Church in Raleigh. Burial will be at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Kinston.
She was born in Bronx, N.Y., Aug. 12, 1953, to Sybeleen Petty and Rommie O. Morgan.
She is survived by her husband, Todd Merriweather, and a son.
Visitation will be at St. Raphael's 10 a.m. Friday.
Arrangements are by J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home of Kinston.
