GERALD L. MOORE
Died March 13, 2017
Gerald L. Moore, 70, resident of the Indian Springs community, Seven Springs, after many months of declining health, found peaceful rest for eternity in the early morning hours of Monday, March 13, while at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Gerald will be remembered in a funeral service to be held Thursday, March 16, at 3 p.m. from Tyndall Funeral Home, officiated by Bishop John Moore, and followed by burial in Pineview Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home during the hour before the service, and at other times at the home of his sister.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Hazel M. Moore, and a brother-in-law, Wilbur Price. He was a drywall installer.
Gerald is survived by his sister, Alma Ray Price of Seven Springs; three nephews, Lawrence Price and wife, Lynn, of Goldsboro, Dwayne Price and wife, Rebekah, of Canby, Calif., and Jamey Price of Seven Springs; a great-nephew, Will Price, of Canby, Calif.; several special grandchildren, Jimmie Paul Bell and daughter, Rayne Bell, John William Wiggins and Emma Quinn, all of whom he loved dearly; and several cousins.
The family expresses a heart-felt thank you to all the staff of Kitty Askins for their exemplary care and support. Flowers welcome, or memorial gifts may be given to Kitty Askins Hospice, 107 Handley Park Cort, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
