John Robert "Bob" Outlaw passed away early Saturday, March 11, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
The funeral service will be Monday, March 13, at 2 p.m. at the Tyndall Funeral Home, officiated by the Rev. Craig Snook, followed by burial in Pineview Cemetery.
Visitation will be at Tyndall during the hour before the service.
Bob was a native of the White Flash area of Duplin County and had resided in Florida for the last many years. He had been a farmer and a telephone repairman. He was the son of the late William Allen "Bill Allen" and Henrietta "Etta" Millard Outlaw.
A brother, Durwood Outlaw with wife, Susan, of Florida; and three sisters, Jean O. Byrd of Mount Olive, Maggie O. Jones of Florida, and Lois O. Shivar with husband, N.H., of Mount Olive, survive Bob.
Flowers are welcome, or memorial gifts may be made to the charity of one's choice.
