James Arthur Bass, 55, 405 Dove Place, died Friday at Wayne UNC Health Care.
Funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations Inc.
He was born Feb. 28, 1961, in Wayne County to J.C. and Margie Faye Dickerson Bass.
Visitation will be 4 to 7 tonight, with the family present 6 to 7, in the chapel.
