Zelda "Pudding" Swinson Ward, 68, 414 S. Herman St., died Feb. 11 at Wayne UNC Health Care.
Funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. at St. Mark Church of Christ Disciples of Christ, with Bishop Alton A. Smith officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
She was born Sept. 30, 1948, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Paul Ellis and Telzie Swinson.
She is survived by her husband, Fletcher Ward, and children.
Visitation will be 2 to 5 tonight, with the family present 4 to 5, in J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
