Donald Edward Smith, 80, 508 Weaver Drive, died Thursday at Wake Medical Center of Raleigh.
Funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Goldsboro Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, with elder James A. Collins officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery with full military honors.
He was born Dec. 25, 1936, in Wayne County to Claude and Luvenia Garrison Smith.
He is survived by his children.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m., with the family present 7 to 8, in J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremation.
